Yes, I see that it says Silver Anniversary pkg on the window stickers. Those stickers were produced by PCNA though, not the factory, and mistakes in verbiage were likely commonplace back then as they are today. I think the bulk of the evidence points to 25th Anniversary, not Silver Anniversary and I believe it is an error to call it that.

As I mentioned earlier, Corlett's book, Morgan's Original 911, the Red Book, Leffingwell's books and the host of buyer's guides I have all have misinformation about the '88 and '89 special editions, and should not be relied upon as authoritative information about these models.
Err... You do realize that a "silver" anniversary is a 25 year anniversary, right?
