I keep thinking of getting a MIG welder. Then I remember how little I weld. I have an OLD 220 stick welder and a torch. I use it once or twice ever other year.
I can cheat because one friend has all the toys from TIG, MIG, Brigeport, lathe and a break and he does not mind if I come up and watch him spend a few minutes welding or machining something. Another buddy is a professional welder and runs a successful welding business. If I need something difficult welded I just pay him and he has a buddy rate.
I guess I could sell off the old stick welder and replace it with a MIG but then I would have to go hunt up something to weld.
