I guess you could compare this car to those 'Outlaw' or Magnus Walker cars, and everyone has their own idea of what looks good.
If they properly repaired the rust in the body, it should be OK and hopefully the owners will be happy with their car.
BTW, I've always liked the concept of Lotus cars, and I saw the Europa build just before the 356 episode. I definitely liked that car when all done, though I could never fit in one.
