IT IS COMPTON!! i drop her off at night..8:00 pm ish. leaving her house..BOOM! a tire blows out on the trailer..i look and the remaining tire on that side of the tandom looks really bad too.. i pull over to a gas station, right when the shop owner was pulling this armor shield over his windows and doors. he looks at me, gives me his blessing to park there, scurries away. i call penske. the nicest lady answers looks at my position on a map...and says, "OMG! you're in compton..cage and figeroa. " yup..she tells me she cannot get someone to me till 8:00 am. and hangs up on me.
scariest night of my life. gunfire. hookers and blow. gunfire..slow cars circling me..i stabbed my knife into the dash for a quick grab..and hunkered down. if there was ever a time i needed a gun.. people knocking on my window all night...
they never charged me for putting the knife wound into the new dash..
