I wonder how different the Conejo Valley would be today if Amgen had not had so much success. I remember walking down in that canyon one day and seeing tons of dead birds. Scared me.
When I was a kid, you used to be able to swim under Paradise Falls and La Barranca. I went back there a few years ago and the place just smelled of sewage. Its sad.
