I can appreciate that you may not like photography and that's okay. I try and make GP vids that are under 5 minutes, I would prefer 3 minutes or so, since that's about the average attention span, but I do go over. Not the greatest editor/filmographer..
I still think it's a bit harsh to call hobbies "self-serving".
