Why waste your money on 93 on a 78SC? The car was designed for 87. If you want to feel like you're giving it a treat, buy some 89.

Anyway, NY fuel prices are insane, usually 20 cents more per gallon than NJ. Whenever we head into NY, we always start with a full tank to avoid having to buy gas. Plus you have to pump the gas yourself, it's so uncivilized....

To answer your question, I'm too chicken to run it down to the point where the reserve light turns on. Somehow, I always end up spending about $55 to $65 to fill up. The current price for regular in my area is about $3.50/gallon ($0.92/liter).
