The shop the found of the founder of the company I work for can do all that stuff. It is a LOT more compact though. His shop was set up in the laundry room attached to the detached garage. The neighborhood he was in it was common to have a detached two car garage with an 8 foot wide laundry room the length of the garage with water hookups, drains, etc. He has a lathe, drill press, and one of those Shop Smiths. The old shop smith reconfigures to do the surfacing, jointing, belt and disc sander, table and radial saw. He uses the drill press like a router. He was a master of making jigs to hold and work as guides.
He is my brother's father-in-law. We made a coffee table together for my apartment when I was in college. Taught me I could do amazing things with a jig saw, circular saw, hand drill and a hand sander using a little extra wood to create jigs to keep things aligned. Also taught me you could get some wild exotic woods very cheap by bribing the guys at the lumber yard with exotic woods to let you raid their scrap bin. Had to know what you were looking at though.
His shop is currently in storage. They plan to make a recreation of his shop and office at the new company facility as a memorial. His dad had the same setup in his garage.
