This rifle has been on my mind since I first handled one. I'm no semi-auto guy, no "black rifle" guy, but the idea of a handy little rifle - almost a carbine, really - in .308 has a lot of appeal. So, the idea of a bolt gun that more or less mimics the popular "tactical" semi-autos has some appeal. But I go back and forth... I wouldn't hunt with it, although I could, so it would really just be a plinker. So a .223 would seem to make more sense. Then I think "well, this would be my SHTF rifle", but I'm no "prepper" by a long shot. If I were, the .308 would make perfect sense. In the end, I still have not bought one. Maybe I'm over thinking it - it's just a cool rifle, and "just for the hell of it" is a perfectly valid reason to buy another rifle. I really should scratch that itch...
