With all due respect to the above people, you do whatever YOU NEED to stay sober. If it means having NO booze in the house, DO IT. If it means being a telling others what has happened to you, DO IT.
I'm fairly sure that the above people don't wish you harm but its wrong to ask you to do things that works for them. You have to do what you need.
This is one time where its OK to be focused on yourself so that you will stay sober. Don't worry about what other people will think. Some of my "friends" wanted me to go back to being the same fun guy I was before. They didn't care about what drink or drugs was doing to me. They just wanted me to be fun for them.
Go "too far" if that's what it takes for you. I will gladly "offend" anyone that wants me to be what they want if it puts me back in bondage.
