I have ADT and it knocked a whopping $19 off my annual homeowner's ins. premium. But I can monitor it from my iPhone and, the one time I couldn't enter the right code fast enough (second day I had it), it went off and ADT called within one min. It's a loud alarm and I only have the doors armed and two motion detectors. But there's no way they'd be able to get to anything of value without passing one of the detectors. And I have cool neighbors who would definitely step in if necessary.
