I clearly stated that I don't know what Sam's car is worth,but that I would vouch for him as a good guy.
I do think I have a decent grasp on IB values. Longnoses are such an insanely dynamic market right now that it spins my head to even try to begin to figure them out. So, I defer to the experts, like TW, on such things and don't even begin to throw things out there. If it was a ratty barn find needing work I would have a rough idea. But when we reach the top end of the market and are looking at finished or near finished cars, I don't have a clue. And I don't pretend to at this point.
