Good morning folks.

The Elky let me down yesterday. The electric fuel pump does not pump fuel anymore. For some reason the car will not run like that. The pump is inside the gas tank, and the gas tank is mounted between the frame rails underneath the bed of the Elky. I had to have the Elky towed home.

Those fuel pumps seem to last 5 or 6 years.

In the past it was a real pain to get to the pump. Now with the lift I can just get the car in the air, put a solid support under the tank, then lift the Elky up off of the tank. I figure now is a good time to replace all the fuel lines I installed when I converted to fuel injection 12 years ago. The old "while I am in there"
