Finished installing the Elephant Racing late Carrera oil cooler system. Added 14 1/2 quarts of oil over a period that included the special thermostat opening to accept the additional oil through the cooler.
No leaks and seems to activate at about 200F. Haven't run it on the Interstate yet to see what sort of temperature drop I get once the thermostat opens but maybe tomorrow.
I did this without installing the fan and its thermostat that mounts in front of the cooler as I would have to cut out the passenger side battery box. Seems that I get pretty good flow through the passenger side horn grill.
