Flew some RC combat years ago- it was a hoot. Harder than it looks, especially difficult to estimate distance from you. If I remember correctly we had a 3foot string and a 9ft paper streamer attached to the plane.
Cut the paper- 1point
Cut the string- 3points
Crash into the other plane, but planes still flyable- 5points
Crash into other plane, he crashes you are still flyable- 10points.
Planes were small 0.15 engine size styrofoam flying wings. Bought them by the dozen- usually lost one or two a day.
