My question was about reliability and fitment, not trying to gain hp. I read Josh's thread and site about coils, I was asking questions that he didn't address.

Coming from air cooled VW, the Mexican, and Brazilian made Bosch is absolute garbage. Searching the forums show that there are problems with the Bosch available to us.

Anyways, COO on the epoxy is china too. They don't fit in the stock bracket, either tape or a hose needs to be added. They also seem to be problem free, I haven't read about any issues in our application.

One thing that I haven't been able to clear up 100% is should the ballast resistor be used or not. Josh touched on it, but it seems there's no definite answer.
