OK, checked the BB value of the two vehicles that we currently have. 2001 Explorer XLT, in great shape, runs great, comfy, AC, etc.... $1700. I'm sure we could get 2500-3000 due to the shape it's in and that everything works and it's the XLT, but that was enough for me to convince the missus that it's better to just keep that one with minimal insurance as a backup than to sell it. So now I'm looking at 2 seaters or 4 seaters, $20-40k.
I've found a 2001 911 turbo in town, a couple 996 Carreras, and a couple of Caymans (Caymen?
). One or two of the Carreras have sport seats and one of the Caymans an S has sport seats which is something that I think i would like, but I'll know for sure when I sit in them. Sport Seats aren't deal killers. Miles range from 11k to 48k, years range from '99 to 2010, I think.
