Finally got time to adjust the shift linkage, write-up in tech pages here was spot on!
After that I put everything back together as the console is now deleted

I also did a little backyard CIS tuning which proved to be very easy and effective. The car was running a bit hot when thrashed on, 220-230, and I couldn't find any source of other issues. Starting at square one it has a cat and muffler delete and FabSpeed CF airbox...most likely leaning it out quite a bit. Added some fuel via that fancy idle screw and so far so good.

Ran it to work this morning, 70mph/3000rpm for 35 minutes and here it sat, exactly on the center red hash mark on the guage (visible only looking w light)
