I've always kept my MLPs inside a tax sheltered account avoiding all that crap, though I know there are restrictions on how much/many MLPs you can do that with before the IRS don't like it

. I also import all of my non sheltered brokerage activity directly into TurboTax....easy peasy that way now...wasn't always the case.
