Thank you for the info/offer highboost. I may be interested, but I need to gather more information about the other trans. I will be calling back tomorrow to ask about whether the ring and pinion is new or rebuilt, who did the rebuild and when, why its for sale, what the brand are the custom gears, and if an LSD in included or not. If anybody can think of any additional questions I should ask, please let me know.
A friend of mine said the close ratio gears would be sweet, and said if he could do his trans rebuild over again he'd have done it too. Anybody else have any experience with close ratio trans on this car?
As always, thanks for the advice and helping to keep my head above the ever deepening pit of dispair.
