Small business owners and rising insurance costs.

Two and half years ago, a few colleagues and myself started a retail/hospitality design firm. Fortunately for us, business has been extremely good since we've opened our doors, affording us the opportunity to bring on 6 employees.
We just received our new rates for 2015 from our benefits provider and the new rules which will be enforced at the turn of the year.

In the past we were charged one rate per family, this will be changing effective January 2015

We will now be charged a rate per family member by their age - therefore, instead of charging a bulk family rate, we will be charges a cost per person within the family, which you can imagine will considerably impact our monthly rate and becoming cost prohibitive quickly.
We are also going to have to pay a $750/month medicare supplemental benefit rate.
Aside from shopping for other providers, the suggestion has come up to either a) use our spouse's coverage if possible or b) an option is that we no longer carry the spouse and children on our coverage to cut our costs. Not crazy about either option frankly, I would prefer to increase our fees but that's another topic for another day.

How are you all handling this increase in costs under the new healthcare laws?
