It is a bit of a sensory overload but amazing. Sort of like going to Florence and seeing all the great paintings and sculpture in that setting, mind is blown. I took video of some of these cars racing but it's not great quality, (iphone), nearly every car in these photos was raced over the weekend. I got to see a Ferrari Daytona and other "Holy Grail" cars being pushed hard into some corners and just flogged. Like I said, Amazing.
One big regret is that my phone died right when I hiked up to the top of the corkscrew on Sat. afternoon when they were racing the '66-'72 Trans Am cars. Penske Z-28, Boss 302s, all the USA pony cars being pushed hard where they raced originally with all period-correct equipment. Someone else is suppose to email me some pics, I'll post if I get them.
