After many months of back-and-forth, my company finally closed out a deal to a buyer. They carried over 90% of the staff and secured some very good career opportunities for those of us that remain.
More than anything, the waiting is over. For the past 4 months my fellow managers and I have been meeting with potential buyers, going through financials, COGS, product margins - you name it. All the while, not able to tell the staff what is up until the last minute. Now it's done and over. The
PR announcements have gone out and we can move on with life.
Only down side is relocation to Colorado is no longer an option - so the wife and I are stuck here for at least another 90 days. Meh.
All done. Thanks for reading.
