Some of you may remember my friend Melissa's dog, Jake. Well...he just had surgery to remove his eyes after a year long battle with an eye condition. They tried everything and ultimately Jake was in too much discomfort to not do this surgery.
Please keep Jake and his family in your thoughts today.
Jake will acclimate to his new condition but obviously things will never be the same.
