+1 - unless it was a smoking deal and the color combo I wanted, I'd look for a '09 or newer. There are too many of the M96/97 engines crapping out these days. I had a friend brag about how reliable his 997 ('05) had been, minimal maintenance, etc., and of course the IMS let go and destroyed the engine shortly thereafter (around 70k miles).
