Yup. Full power engine run-up after maintenance. Kind of hard to make out in the pics, but you might be able to see where the bricks end and the "real" pavement starts. If they would have backed it up about 50 feet they would have been just fine.
It might look worse than it is. No engine damage, just sheet metal. Pretty easy fix.
You might also notice the lack of a blast fence or any other sort of safety barricades. Nothing to keep anyone from driving or walking behind it. Things are different in the third world, even in aviation.
