i bought my first healey in 1964 right out of college and have owned several way back in the day. i did my first v8 conversion in 1968 while stationed at ft sill oklahoma....violated a 1959 austin healey bn6 with a ford 289 motor and transmission. but this was when that was sort of the craze and they were cheap and available then..not quite the same now! i bought a reasonably priced 1958 austin healey bn6...always loved the two seaters...from a guy in new jersey. i went and picked it up in a 1500 mile round trip dash last weekend...i will not convert this one! work to be done but i will not.....
