Got my 944 through emissions this morning. Passed no problems. Person doing the testing said it looked great by the numbers.
Although getting to that point took a bit of work. Car came without a cat, and a really crappy muffler. Thanks to PorscheNut924 I got a good muffler.. passed on the cat from him, even though my gut told me to get it.. oh well.. no big deal.. local exhaust shop didn't charge much at all for a new cat and to do the fab work to fit the stock muffler back on. Exhaust was a bit hacked from PO's. Fresh plugs and an air filter helped as well.
Now.. some PO rounded out the fill plug on the trans-axle.. it's leaking a bit, and needs oil.. this is going to be interesting to figure out. Might cheat and have a buddy tack weld a nut or bolt to it.. already have new fill and drain plugs here..
