My opinion: the airline ought to disable the recline feature in rows that are too tight to allow both passengers to enjoy the flight.

Hit the nail on the head. I'm amazed how many people think it's ok to recline into my crotch. It's like they are waiting for me to wash their hair.
I get that "it's your right to use the features of your seat", but just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean you should.
