But .... some men are worse than women.
In my yoot i worked at a gas station.
A guy came in saying the engine on his toyota was making funny noices.
I opened the hood and saw part of a terry cloth towel stuffed into the hole on the valve cover where the oil cap normally would reside. (aka 710 cap).
I say PART of a towel because the rest of it had been injested into the engine and was wrapped around the cam and rockers.

There was no oil on the dipstick either, not even oil residue. But there was a little bit of lint on it.
