had a good experience with CL contractor today
When you are out of your element it's difficult to find a contractor to do a job with any degree of confidence. How do you know the guy is legit ? Anyway recently I decided I need a 12 x 20 pad poured for my RV and a 5 x 18 sidewalk. I decided to look on Craigslist to see what was available for concrete contractors. Being near Atlanta there was a boat load. Not sure what my process was but I narrowed it down to three guys. Basically picked on phone conversations and he was the only one to come out and see the job. Well today 5 yards of concrete were poured and I couldn't be happier. The two guys that did the job were on time, spoke English and had EVERYTHING with them to do the job. The 12 x 20 pad averaged 5 " thick and the 5 x 18 sidewalk average 4 " thick. The concrete mix was 3000 psi with fiberglass added and the total price was 1300.00. I think I did good.
