That's a pretty good price for flat work near a large city... In the NYC area price for sidewalks/slabs is closer to $7.00 sf...

Now go out and cure the slabs properly, mist them with water.... or better let a sprinkler keep the slabs wet for a a few days..

Or cover the slabs with opaque plastic and have a soaker hose under the plastic running a slow drip..

You want the concrete to be cured..."wet" for a few days... State and Federal specs usually require wet curing of slabs for 7-14 days...

Or just keep the slab as wet as possible. for you... In the long run its better
