Great! Yeah I've done many 1000+ mile trips (and a few 3000+ mile ones) and last season, first real issue I had was a seized caliper... but you can't realistically be equipped for that possibility. I travel light, with a fanbelt, Porsche tool kit, DME relay, oil and brake fluid, and BCAA and Visa cards. Like Graham says, when a car gets to a certain age, the garage queens seem to be the least reliable. My wife and I are going to the southern BC Interior at the end of the week with only my regular touring stuff....touch wood LOL.
