These cars are old and they're bound to have had bumps and bruises, but a salvage title is a value killer... we're not talking short hoods where (for some reason) the car's history is irrelevant as long as it has had a restoration.

If I am reading it right, tech weenie is saying the market value is mid to high 20s before subtracting the salvage value -- which would put a repaired car in the high teens.
Very nice '86 coupes under 100k are selling in the 30s. Even red ones.
