I am just wanting to fact check something for peace of mind.

Presented with patient in their 90's, acute leukemia, minor heart murmur (long term issue).

Good attitude, generally good health, could pass for 20 years younger, no detrimental bad habits.

White cell count 1.2

Red cell count (damn I should remember but it is lower than a pt on chemo)

Prognosis terminal

Treatment plan to prolong life while protecting quality of life.

Question:

What drugs would you prescribe to increase/stimulate white/red cell count? Epryx? Nothing?

No full blown chemo.

Would increasing the production of cells only increase the production of bad cells?

Might be missing something.
