911 & Porsche world ran a series of articles that chronicled every Porsche model from 356 to 996, including prototypes etc.
They also had a suppliment where they picked their 100 favorite porsches... and on the back cover, they listed "the ones we left out." If i can find it, maybe i will post a definitive list.
