I don't wear a watch. I own several in the sub-$500 price range, but stopped wearing/caring about them probably 10 years ago. I have no desire to buy an expensive, clunky, $10K watch.
That being said, I'll be buying an Apple Watch with a leather strap. I'm very interested in my health and fitness, but don't do enough about them. Maybe an Apple Watch will help me with that. I'd also like to know the time without fishing for my iPhone 6.
I also would like to make payments with the watch. That sounds very cool. Vending machines? Metros? Oh yes...
I bought a Pebble a couple months ago, but returned it the next day. It was way too low tech.
At first glance, the Apple Watch doesn't look like much, but like everything Apple, the details are where its at. Apple is pretty smart about future tech, and I trust that they know where these things are heading.
