THE MAIN ROTORS BECAME DAMAGED AND UNBALANCED, WHICH CAUSED THE MAIN TRANSMISSION TO WOBBLE IN IT'S CRADLE. THE MOUNTING CASTING BROKE, WHICH ALLOWED THE WHOLE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY TO MOVE, WHICH DAMAGED THE STAINLESS STEEL FIREWALL, PUT DENTS AND CRACKS IN THE CARBON FIBER CEILING, AND SHOCK LOADED BOTH ENGINES.
THE TAIL ROTOR DRIVE SHAFT BROKE, THE FIBERGLASS UPPER COWLING LOST A HUNK, AND BOTH TAIL ROTOR BLADES SUSTAINED SOME VERY, VERY SMALL DENTS. ALL MAIN ROTOR BLADES ARE DAMAGED, AND MUCH OF THE ROTATING ASSEMBLY IS DAMAGED AT LEAST SLIGHTLY
BOTH PRATT&WHITNEY PT6-207C ENGINES HAVE SUSTAINED DAMAGE FROM THE SUDDEN STOPPAGE OF THE MAIN ROTORS
WHAT DIDNT GET DAMAGED? WELL LOTS !!
THE CABIN ONLY SHOWS A FEW CRACKS IN THE CEILING, NO HOLES OR DEBRIS PENETRATED, SO THE LIKE NEW 8 SEAT INTERIOR IS UNDAMAGED (REMOVED FOR INSPECTION OF THE CEILING, BUT WELL PROTECTED AND STILL IN PERFECT CONDITION!!!!!)
THE MAIN MAST MOUNTS IN THE CEILING APPEAR UNDAMAGED, AND IN PROPER ALIGNMENT. (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU PLAN ON REPAIRING THIS HELICOPTER !!
ALL OF THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM LOOKS UNDAMAGED !!
(NOTICE THE FUNNY BOLT-ON ITEMS ON THE MAIN GEAR. ONLY USED TO HELP THE HELICOPTER FIT INTO A STANDARD CONTAINER FOR SEA SHIPPING) PRETTY INGENIOUS !!!
THE ENTIRE CABIN, INCLUDING ALL DOOR GLASS AND WINDSHIELDS ARE COMPLETELY UNDAMAGED AND ALL 5 DOORS FIT AND WORK PERFECTLY, NO DAMAGE VISIBLE FROM THE GROUND TO THE MAIN FUSELAGE EXCEPT THE FIBERGLASS ROTOR MAST COVER !!!"
Other than that she's Cherry! LOL!
