Grew up on a small farm.....Cows, pigs, goat, chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs.......

We could never travel anywhere....Even a 50 mile trip to see the cousins was always: Hurry home and milk the cows...

Would really luv to have a dog now, but am gone on trips at least 20% of the days per year.....I'll enjoy the neighbor dogs. Cats? All I can say is the price of ammo has really gone up.

Don't even get me going on horses........I live in horse country.....Many people, including my brother, have to buy 10 acres, 3/4 ton p/u, huge trailer, fencing and then 8-10K a year on hay, feed, and vet bills. Can't have one horse, always 2 or 3........ I know many single gals with horses that can't figure out why no sane guy wants to buy into their obsession?
