I've had 2 different versions of the 90° tool for use with a drill.
One was very similar to the above - another which was quite a bit older had a cast metal body.
One version had a 2X and a 1/2X gearing - whereby the gearing either doubled or halved the drill speed - depending on which "end" the drill was attached.
