Thanks. I really appreciate this.
Looks like I am going to have to find a place to extract the firing pulse for the coil on plug system, at least for the Caymans and later Boxsters. And Turbos. The 997s at least there is a chance of removing some stuff so one can get a wrench on the crank pulley for manual turning of the crank when checking gears.
