What did the PO sell it for, just curious?
I do find the issue with prior salvage titles confusing. Some states did legally provide clear titles in the past I thought?
To me, a car with a prior salvage but current clean title isn't worth the same as a no-stories car. But its definitely worth more than a current salvage car (way more).
