For the record:
1. Apple released a tool that users can use to remove the free U2 album from their list of albums on their iDevices
2. Technically, it is not on their device, but listed as an album can be downloaded to their devices if they choose to do so. It appears as if an album that was purchased, but not yet downloaded to their individual devices.
3. It is a free album for crying out loud! I've never heard so many folks complain about getting something for free. And if you don't want it - just don't download it. In Apple iTunes store, and in Google Play - there's a bunch of free stuff available to the masses - but folks don't complain about that...
