Finder's fee for selling 911
My friend has his 911 serviced at shop "A". The owner of shop"A" asked my friend if he knew of any older 911 cars for sale. The friend referred me to the shop owner.
I had not advertized my 911, but considered selling it if the price was right. The shop owner looked at the 911 and stated he had a buyer for it. The next day I received a call from the interested buyer who promptly came over and test drove it. He said he would take it at my asking price based on a PPI at shop "A".
I expect the PPI to go well.
My question is: If the transaction is completed should I give a gratuity to shop owner "A"?
