Bk/wh or wh/bk
Read the original mod from Rennlist and noticed a BK/WH wire(smaller gauge wire-proper wire) and a WH/BK wire in headlight area. If you spliced into the wrong wire it might explain your problems as you could be getting a positive feed from the headlight circuit when they are on. The original mod shows splicing in at the "X" connectors rather than at the headlight plug. Guess ok if right wire spliced.
