W A K E U P ! ! !
F1 race is about to start. Looks like a fun one, you can actually see the cars drifting through the corners.
The Litter Kwitter thing makes sense to me. It is a cover that sits on the toilet bowl with the seat lifted and has 3 different insert trays to cover the hole. One without a hole, one with a small hole, and one with a large hole. Each of the three trays hold litter. The idea is get the cat using the tray instead of their normal litter box. Move the tray to the toilet. Then replace the insert without a hole to one with the small hole, then to the one with the bigger hole, then remove the insert altogether. Then remove the cover and the cat it toilet trained. The instructions recommend taking 8 weeks for the total transition to get the cat used to each change before going to the next.
What I think is interesting is when I was just a kid we had a couple of siamese cats and had 4 batches of kittens. I remember the mother cat litterbox training the kittens herself. She would lead them to the box and scratch around in it getting them all to use it. I wonder if and how a mother cat would toilet train kittens?
I also remember my Dad would not allow the cats in the kitchen while we were eating. There would be a couple of meals with the mother cat sitting in the kitchen doorway and batting back each of the kittens as they tried to go into the kitchen. Also remember us coming home one day and with the mother up on the plate rack around the top of the kitchen and kittens at various levels of climbing up the drawer handles, cabinets, and fridge to get to the plate rack.
