Go for it. Are you using the cream or the liquid? The cream is easier to work with. The liquid it hard to control and best used for small stuff, screws and those kind of parts.Put it on with steel wool and an old tooth brush. Follow the directions closely. Card with 00 wool, 5 or six repetitions should get you there. Make sure you treat the parts with RIG or they will rust almost over night. You should try slow rust bluing. It''s easier than you think and MUCH more durable. I know you will figure this out yourself but fine grit is really over kill. polishing to 600 will do nicely.

* use nitril gloves** unless you want blue fingers from the cream. The liquid will absorb into your skin BAD STUFF.**
