Every job I've ever had began by walking in and meeting the man in charge. We talk about work for maybe ten minutes. By fifteen minutes he's telling me when I start and where my desk is.

If I walk in and see a bunch of human resources eunichs I groan and drift off to thinking of where I'm going to apply next.
