I don't understand statins. The numbers are bad for those drugs, need about 200 people treated to prevent 1 non-fatal heart attack, lots of side effects, 2/3 of men who have a 1st heart attack have normal chol numbers... They do seem to prevent second heart attacks. Seems people would be better off just eating well, exercising, etc.
