Okay, I will give you the anti primate thing. What if they are smart monkeys that have enough sense not to eat fruit bats, but they have nefarious intentions. Or not monkeys, kangaroos, drunken kangaroos, with rabies. That rope bridge is not looking like such a great idea if there is a rabid, intoxicated marsupial at either end, just sayin'
